I have received many calls over the last few weeks. The person identifies as for "Microsoft main wireless server office". Mostly I have just ended the call. Last call I chatted for a few minutes, telling the guy I was sitting outside enjoying a glass of wine. In his poor English he conversed a little, but quickly, as per script, wanted me to go to my computer to start the scam process. As I understand, the scam crew want to get you to download programs that give them remote access. They can then extract any and all information regarding passwords, credit card and bank details, etc. etc. Next time they call I will try and entertain myself by wasting their time, while I am sipping wine; maybe tell a really good dirty joke and leave out the punch line; maybe tell them about the big inheritance I just received; maybe act as if I am having a fantastic sexual episode with a beautiful lady, while still trying to follow their commands vis-a-vis my computer. Should be fun! Anyway, it's an obvious scam call.

Got a call today at 6:27 Eastern time. Person was Jennifer calling from Microsoft telling me I was having a problem with my computer. Told me to turn it on and she could show me the problem and fix it.

Says he's from Microsoft regarding a corrupted file on my computer. I hung up.

Wants to give "free" gift certificate, if only I will give him my credit card information so that he can charge me a paltry sum for shipping. Yeah, right.

Received several calls from this number, most are hangups. Upon call back get message that voice mail is full. This is a college placement telemarketing company....they call at odd hours and don't leave messages and call multiple times in a single day and over a period of time as well. Answered once and actually got a response from a lady saying I had shown interest in continuing my education at their school. I told her I never heard of her school and I was not interested as I am actually a full time college student now and requested that she not call back in the future.

This person is repeatly calling both house and cell numbers claiming to be an Officer/Investigator - tells me the police will be coming if we do not call back because of something with the ssn or a loan that we received (we have not received or applied for one). This is a scam and it needs to be stopped.

Calling 3 or more times a day. Letting it ring 3 times and no message

keeps calling and saying I have a case number

says he works for the government and i am in trouble for a payday loan i never took I checked my credit report and bank account to check and nothing. I am tired of this crap they have been doing this for like a month and a half. Leave me alone. My uncle is a police officer and said if i was in trouble i would be notified in person and served. the guy calling has an middle eastern accent and always has an american name. same person if i really was in trouble why havent they done anything yet. Leave me alone. My next step is to call the law on them.

Calls my cell repeatedly (up to 8 times per day), leaves no voicemail, and does not respond when I answer the phone. This has been going on for several weeks.

they dont wanna tell what they call for but they wanna know when someone is home !!!
